Mac *said* he was going on vacation with Peyton, but he was really heading to the hospital to check on Danny, and Peyton was "in" on Mac/Danny's relationship and the whole "London trip" thing was them just making it "look good" to everyone about her and Mac to deflect suspicion from Mac/Danny.

Soooo....

As far as I'm concerned, Danny slept with Lindsey to make Mac jealous, or because they were having a fight, or cuz Mac, in a fit of stubborness, "dared" Danny by saying Danny wouldn't have the guts to follow through after Danny groused about all the PDA with Peyton and Mac, and so Danny got drunk playing pool with Lindsey and just went with it cuz it "felt good" and he knows that Lindsey's got this total crush on him so he figured "what the hell, I'll give her a treat" So there's a plot bunny for you. If you want more, my thoughts are perhaps Mac gets doubly pissed cuz he runs into Lindsay at the hospital and she leaks that they slept together, and he was already pissed at Danny's heroic behavior at the warehouse, so he practically "kidnaps" Danny from the hospital and drags him home and literally ties him to the bed to have his wicked way, <snicker, smacks lips... you write that soooo well!>... administer lots of tlc to his broken body parts, AAAAnd make clear to Danny that, while "faking" everyone out with these set up relationships, Danny's not going about it the right way by not letting Lindsay in on the deal, and Danny eventually comes around to agree, after a stubborn bout of pride on his part, followed by the inability to leave the bed until he admits it, which at first he doesn't mind too much, but then gets a little perturbed at when Mac hand feeds him, or handcuffs them together when Danny takes a shower or goes to pee or something. Heh. Anyway. Hope I didn't get carried away. There's a bunny for you. I'll check back to see if you run with it (I NEEEEED some fic prolly more than you NEEEED to write it!)
